Meet Stanley!

Hi All!! Remember the white blob I was telling you to remember? He is a white blob no longer! Meet Stanley the Snail!!
He is sooooo simple to make! And was originally inspired by the snail made over on The Green Dragonfly blog. Basically you begin with newspaper and sellotape, and just keep curling and scrunching and sticking your newspaper together until you have a snail shape you are happy with.

I then covered my snail with strips of kitchen roll, gluing it all down with slightly watered down PVA (like they used to show you on Art Attack- anyone remember that programme?)

Wait until it is hard and completely dry, and then paint!

Add a cheeky little grin and voila! A snail is born- and one that won't be eating your garden.
