Fenton Goes To Menorca

Hi Chaps, I am very excited to give you an update on the whereabouts of our young friend Fenton. He has flown and is now temporarily living in Menorca!! (Living the high life by the looks of things.) Sadly Hamish, his partner in crime, is not with him this time (he's in Canada I believe) but this hasn't stopped Fenton from having a good time!

Harriet and Hamilton even flew out to see him for a week. So nice to see them reunited again!

New Travel Buddies

After seeing the success of Fenton & Hamish, the travel hamsters. I decided that it might be a nice idea to make travel hamsters for my holiday to France. I made one for each of us, so from left to right we have Chloe (who belongs to Emma), Elvis (who belongs to me) and Holly (who did belong to Amy but sadly decided to stay in Palm Beach and not come home with the rest of us!).



I think they really enjoyed their holiday!! And Holly, should you be reading this, I hope you have found somewhere nice to live in Cannes- send us a postcard sometime!

Fenton & Hamish Go To France

These hammies are proper little jet setters!! They have just arrived back from holidaying in France with their pals Anna & Stewart. I wonder if Hamish brought back any souvenirs in his rucksack?
Coincidentally, I too am off to France-- tomorrow in fact, so I won't be around for a week as I will be living the high life in Cannes!! So, the next few posts will be France France France!! Au Revoir! xx

The Adventures of Fenton & Hamish

Ah, I love it when people make things- especially things that I have shown them or taught them how to make! In April I introduced you to Fenton and Hamish, two hamsters made by my friend Anna after my hamster themed craft sessions last year (here and here). They seem to travel most places with her and are stars in their own right (do you think there is a hamster walk of fame? Maybe we could make a felt one...)

These are the latest photos of the friend's travels and exploits. I really love Hamish's travel rucksack!! So cute. I wonder what sorts of things he has in there?

Travel Hamsters

I had a lovely day today, meeting up with friends and walking around Ashdown Forest. It's a great time to catch up, and boy did we have a lot of catching up to do!! To my delight I discovered that through my craft sessions last year, I have inspired one of my friends to take the felt hamster making to a whole new level! She has been making them for friends and family, and when they travel they take photos of the hamsters on holiday, it's such a fantastic idea!!
