I loved making these. They quite literally grew whilst I was making them and took on a life of their own. They are 'Green & Pink' Postcards!! (With a most unseasonal, Spring-like feel to them.)
The background is made up of strips of green fabrics loosely tacked on, the branches of green felt stitched with backstitch. The petals are individually cut and stitched pink fabrics, with bead and bullion knot centres, and to gain movement in these little pieces I have dusted it with a sprinkling of french knots in two shades of pink embroidery thread.
I may have to make another one to keep for myself!!
